Grab a soft tape measure and a top that fits well. Measure in centimetres, keep the tape level, and don't pull it tight.
Measure around the fullest part of the chest, under the arms, keeping the tape level all the way round.
From the top of the shoulder (next to the collar) straight down to where you want the hem to sit.
From the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve. For long sleeves, measure to the wrist bone.
